NATCOM participates in UN World Interfaith Harmony Week

The National Commission for UNESCO was represented on the occasion of the observance of the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week. Ms Maimuna Sidibeh Manneh, Senior Program Officer for Communications at the UNESCO-NATCOM office in Banjul joined Mr James Gomez, Principal Research Officer at the Ministry for Higher Education Research Science & Technology (MoHERST) and Dr Abdoulaye Barry (Lecturer at the University of The Gambia) at the EUCLID University headquarters in Brusubi for a special event featuring two speakers and an open Q&A.

It is remarkable that the EUCLID events received first prize from the jury, with the award ceremony taking place in Amman, Jordan in April 2016 in presence of H.M. King Abdullah II of Jordan.
